Age Concern is committed to promoting well being, rights, respect and dignity for older people. Through a national office and a nationwide network of 34 Age Concerns, they provide services, information and support to older people in response to local needs.
Alzheimers New Zealand Incorporated is a not-for-profit organisation with 21 Alzheimers member organisations located throughout the country that provide support, information, education programmes and services appropriate to their local community.
The Cancer Society of New Zealand is the leading organisation dedicated to reducing the incidence of cancer and ensuring the best cancer care for everyone in New Zealand.
Hospice NZ exists to lead the hospice movement to ensure that every New Zealander has access to quality palliative care.
The Stroke Foundation is the only organisation in New Zealand dedicated to reducing the incidence of stroke, improving treatment outcomes, and supporting those affected by stroke. The Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that supports a team of Community Stroke Advisors and dozens of stroke clubs throughout New Zealand.
Parkinson’s New Zealand offers support, educations and information to people with Parkinsonism conditions, their families, carers and health professionals. There are a wide range of publications and resources on Parkinson’s and its management available from their website. Their Community Educators provide home visits to provide advice, reassurance and practical help on living with Parkinson’s.
Music Therapy New Zealand is a non profit organisation that advocates the employment of NZ Registered Music Therapists (NZRMTh) and governs their ethical and professional standards of practice in working to enhance hauora and waiora of the people of Aotearoa New Zealand. Music Therapy is the planned use of music to assist with the healing and personal growth of people with identified emotional, intellectual, physical or social needs.

The Nationwide Health and Disability Advocacy Service is a free, confidential service, independent of health and disability service providers. They are available for anyone who wants information about the Code of Rights, advocacy resources, or believes that their rights under the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers’ Rights have not been respected.
Carers NZ is a national not for profit supporting a network of approximately 490,000 individual carers and supporting organisations. Their primary role is to ensure awareness about carers, their role, and their needs within New Zealand and internationally.
